HoloArcade August update: improved character memory, and 300 coins on the house (during the beta)

A lot landed on HoloArcade in August. Here is a tour of the highlights. There are also 300 coins waiting in your account, more on that at the end.
AI characters now remember you
Characters have a new long-term memory. They form memories of what happens between you, keep them across sessions, and bring them up when the moment fits. Come back a week later and your favorite character still recalls what you did together.
The memory limit also went up to 300k tokens, roughly 200,000 words of history, and that includes the free model.
Sharper, more consistent images
Two upgrades to the image pipeline. Characters now stay visually consistent from one moment to the next, and their outfits are tracked: if someone changes clothes during a scene, they stay changed in the moments that follow. Overall image quality went up as well.
Deeper creation tools
- Characters can have multiple outfits.
- New simulation inputs: story type, character secrets, powers, and scene feel. Everything you set here feeds directly into play.
- Scene activities are gone. Instead, you give each character a role in the scene and say how long they have held it, a much better way to describe what someone does there.
- The relationships step got a full UI overhaul. [TODO: one clause on what is better now]
- Saving and publishing are two distinct steps: create a Save Point first, publish when you are ready.
Naughty Mode, clearer and safer
- We rewrote the FAQ and Terms [TODO: link] so you can see exactly what Naughty Mode does and does not allow.
- Age verification is live. Verify once, with a quick facial age estimation or an ID document if you prefer, to unlock Naughty Mode content. [TODO if accurate: The check is run by a third-party provider and the image is not kept after the estimate.]
